Straight after full-time today we'll be diving into the nearest bookies to see 'Faster Than Owen' in action (1648, Brough Park, Trap 4).

The racing greyhound owner by 9-year-old Liverpool supporter Charlotte Oldham is once again in action, this time in A4 company.

Following her A5 victory last Saturday, she was promoted up to A4 and on Wednesday of this week she came home a respectable 3rd. Today she's up against some really difficult opponents so a first three placing would be acceptable for Charlotte.

"She's coming on really well," said Charlotte. "She won well last Saturday, I managed to watch her through the windows of the shop as they won't let me in but dad was shouting so I knew we'd won. Today is a very difficult race but as long as she comes home safely I'll be happy."

Meanwhile KopTalk's 'Bootroom Boy' is in action this evening. He's trying to regain his fitness following a long lay-off with a groin injury. He returned last Saturday and led all the way but his lack of fitness showed as he died off at the last 5 metres of the run-in and came home second.

The 'Bootroom Boy' is the only dog in the kennels to have his own pad decked out with Liverpool flags and memorabilia and he continues to receive fan mail from Kop Talk readers from all parts of the globe - you're as mad as us!
