FC Basle issue ground switch bid as Moscow crisis deepens

The Swiss side feel that Moscow is an unsafe venue with the City currently gripped by a hostage situation, with more than 600 people being held by Chechen guerrillas agrieved at Russian forces occupying the Republic of Chechnya.

With the game just five days away, October 30th, it remains to be seen whether the match will go ahead in the troubled City.
