Final score from Hong Kong

Last updated : 27 July 2003 By Gary Purvis
Smicer slotted in the first after good work from El Hadji Diouf and Florent Sinama Pongolle.

Heskey added the second early in the second half. He picked up on Bruno Cheyrou's through ball and took it around the keeper before sliding it into the net.

Le Tallec scored the third on 75 minutes after striking the ball into the far corner after it was pulled back well by Baros.

Baros added a deserved fourth a minute later after showing good individual skills to beat the defence before striking the ball in at the far post.

The Czech striker, and man of the match, added his second and Liverpool's fifth in the final minute of the game.

With seconds remaining Heskey curled a terrific shot to the far post to make it 6-0.
