Finnan, speaking to the club's official website, said: "It's an injury I aggravated in training a while back and basically it just needed some rest. I explained this to the manager (Brian Kerr) and with it only being a friendly he fully understood.
"The rest has done it good. I've resumed training again and so far it has been okay. Hopefully I'll be fine and I don't see it preventing me from playing on Saturday, if selected."
