Finnan's praise for Torres

Torres scored a wonderful goal against Chelsea to open his Liverpool account yesterday and earn the praise of his team mates.

"It was a great finish. He was so quick and so skilful and took the chance really well," said Finnan.

"We're all pleased that he's off the mark already. Hopefully that'll be the first of many for him. It's just a pity it wasn't the winner."
