Former coach hails Kewell

Hart, who is currently manager at first division Nottingham Forest, feels that the Australian international is a 'class act' who is eager to bring success to the club he supported as a boy.

Hart said: "We were all aware Harry was a Liverpool supporter when he was a young lad. I know Ian Rush used to get signed shirts for him, but to be honest as a coach you're never really bothered which team a young lad supports.

"You know they'll be loyal to the team they play for and Harry gave Leeds nine years service and never let them down.

"I think he's just reached a stage now where he wanted to move on and that's what he wants to do at Liverpool. He has improved his game every year since he broke into the Leeds side. Maybe he needed that change.

"I think it could turn into an excellent move for both him and Liverpool. He's a class act."
