Former Liverpool and Tottenham defender John Scales believes Jamie Redknapp's move to Spurs should help resurrect his career.

"He has had a frustrating time recently but he has been club captain and has been a long-serving player," said Scales.
"Being released by a club is obviously disappointing from a player's point of view but he has got to look to rebuild his career.
"The last three or four years have been disrupted by injuries and his first team activity has been restricted.
"He has got his fitness back in the last month but the club have decided to release him.
"It is a shame because he never had a chance to get back and establish himself back in Liverpool team, which is what he wanted to do.
"He is probably the player I have got most admiration for in the game - his dedication and his work in getting over injuries and getting himself fit is second to none."
