"Jose has come through the youth ranks at Barcelona and technically is almost perfect. He is an outstanding keeper," he said.
"He is athletic, brave, quick and intelligent, but not unnecessarily spectacular.
"What was so impressive about him last season was that his saves came at really important moments."
