Former Liverpool striker Lee Jones has decided to stay on at Wrexham after a short trial period with the club.

Jones returned to Wrexham on transfer deadline day after Barnsley released him. He started his career with Wrexham before joining Liverpool for £300,000 but failed to make an impact and eventually moved on.

"I'm made up at coming back home. Wrexham means so much to me," sais Jones.

"This is a chance for me to resurrect my career which has been a bit stop-start the last couple of years."
