Liverpool legend John Toshack has been sacked by Spanish outfit Real Sociedad following a poor run which sees them currently fighting for their survival in the relegation zone.
Real Sociedad President Jose Luis Astiazaran said: "This is down to recent results and above all, is a way of inspiring an improvement over the last nine games of the season."
