Fortress Anfield

Liverpool had their best season at Anfield for fifteen years this season as they won fifteen, drew three and lost one of their nineteen home games in 2005/6.

The Reds conceded only eight times at Anfield, one of which was an own goal, and kept fourteen clean sheets. The 1-1 draw with Birmingham was the only time the Reds didn't win a game they'd taken the lead in at Anfield.
