Fowler believes Reds can do it

"Steven Gerrard's a great loss but they've got another lad Jamie Carragher," he told Sky Sports. "For me I think he's as good as any player in the Premier league at the minute, I think he's that good.

"Obviously if Jamie gets everyone playing, as I'm sure he will do, then I think Liverpool have got a great chance.

"Juventus are probably one of the favourites to win the trophy but they beat them at Anfield. It's going to be harder in Turin but I think they are capable of doing it.

"I think Liverpool are a great side and I hope they do go as far as they can."
