Hoping for WC place
Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler believes his lack of first team appearances towards the end of his Anfield career will help his World Cup chances.

The Leeds United striker played just 45 minutes for England against Italy and still managed to find the net on his home ground in such a short time.

Asked if 45 minutes would be enough to make the final World Cup squad, Fowler said: "Having been at Liverpool, I'm used to just playing 45 minutes."
