Fowler hoping for title challenge

Liverpool will go in search of their first league title since Kenny Dalglish led the Reds to the old first division title in 1990. Robbie Fowler is hopeful that Rafael Benitez's side can have a real crack at it this season.

"Every season is huge for Liverpool," said the Liverpool legend.

"Every season is a new start and we are obviously wanting to win stuff again. If we play as well as we did towards the end of last season, then you never know what will happen."
