Fowler looking for longer deal

The striker joined the Reds on a free transfer from Manchester City until the end of the season but he is hoping he can impress the boss and extend his stay.

"No-one has told me what I have got to do to stay on after that, but I think I know myself," he said.

"I want to stay here as long as I can and it is solely down to me. I am not getting carried away. I have got six months here and want to enjoy myself."
