French starlets set for Anfield?

The teenage stars have been the subject of intense speculation concerning their future with many claiming that they will be used as bait to lure Auxerre's Djibril Cisse to Anfield, while it is also still possible that the pair could stay at Le Havre if Monaco fail to overturn their relegation to the French second division.

Houllier, fully aware of the uncertainty surrounding the future of his 'gems', has now made it clear that both could be part of the first-team squad for the Reds forthcoming league campaign.

Houllier said: "I want them to do all the preparation with us. Then they can start adjusting to the language, some of the players and the level of the game.

"When I see the time needed to adapt by some players - like Milan Baros - I think, the sooner they can start the better. The League doesn't start until August 16th and we will take stock at that time."
