FT: Arsenal 3 Liverpool 1

Goals from Pires and Reyes separated the two sides at half time as Arsenal look the better of the two sides.

Biut Liverpool have dominated the second half and a deflected free kick from Steven Gerrard has brought them back into the game.

But in injury time Arsenal scored their third to seal the victory and deny Liverpool the opportunity of finishing fourth in the Premiership.
