Tigana has already been informed that his services will not be required next season, but Melville insists that the Frenchman is still fully committed to the London club.

Melville said: "Jean called a meeting and said it wasn't good enough. He wants to go out in the right way and make sure Fulham are still playing Premiership football next season.

"The main point of the meeting was that Jean's main concern is the club, not himself or individuals. Jean expects more of us and the players realise that. We need points from somewhere and only the players can get them."
