Further praise for Kuyt

The new Kop favourite scored twice on Saturday as the Reds saw off Reading 2-0. After the game Rafa Benitez praised the striker and urged his side to follow Kuyt's example.

"I don't like to talk about one player all the time. I prefer just to say that he's a good player who works hard and, if he keeps the same mentality, he will score goals. How many, I don't know," said Benitez.

"For me, if you have a player who can score more than 20 goals, it's very good but it's more important to have three or four players scoring.

"As well as Kuyt, we need to see Crouch, Bellamy, Garcia and Gerrard scoring too. I would like to have one scoring 25 goals, fantastic, but I don't like to have one player scoring 30 times and the rest of the team not contributing."
