Gaddafi claims Owen support

While many would feel that the Liverpool striker's interest in the politics of African would be remote, Gaddafi has revealed that he has the 23-year-old's backing. If you don't believe him, just ask Owen.


Gaddafi claimed: "Owen said after he knew of my intentions that: 'I hope that Al Saadi will become president of Caf'. If you don't believe me go and ask Michael Owen yourself."
