Garcia believes Reds can win cup

The Reds face Leverkusen tonight with a 3-1 advantage from the first leg and Garcia, who scored the opening goal in that game, believes the Reds can finish the job tonight and even go on to win the competition.

The Reds' number 10 said: "If Porto can win the Champions League then so can we. In football, many unpredictable things happen every season so why shouldn't we believe we can go all the way?

"Liverpool have good players, experience, quality and a great manager. Why can't we lift the cup? If we go through, everybody else will be worried about Real Madrid, Barcelona or Chelsea and not us.

"That's why I believe it could be our year in Europe with one of the underdogs like us winning the competition.

"I expect Bayer Leverkusen to play a very attacking game because they need goals. They beat Real Madrid 3-0 at their own stadium which shows just how good they can be on their own pitch."
