Garcia ready for physical clash

Garcia admitted that his first season in The Premiership has been tough, but that he is now ready for the physical battle which the match with Everton is sure to be.

He told the club website: "It will be a physical game but I'm confident I can cope with it. I'm more used to these kind of games now after almost a season in England. I want to show people that I can play and do well in this kind of game. I know I can play well in difficult matches and do good things for the team. I want to prove that on Sunday.

"Adapting to football in this country has been harder than I imagined it would be, but I'm determined to continue working hard and doing the right things to get better," he added.

And Garcia is under no illusions that the Reds must gain all three points.

"I'm ready for the game and I know what to expect. I didn't play at Everton but I saw the game and I know it will be a tough match. But it's one we have to win," he said.
