According to Gordon Stipic, Biscan's agent, Hamburg have sounded the player out over a summer transfer.
"I know that Hamburg are thinking about him," revealed Stipic.
"In the next two or three weeks things could become more concrete, but first we will have to talk to Liverpool about Igor's future."
Hamburg coach Thomas Doll watched both of Liverpool's Champions League ties with Bayer Leverkusen in which Biscan impressed.
