Gerrard has travelled with the squad to Kiev and is still hopeful of starting against the Israeli champions tonight, but there is a doubt over him after the Liverpool skipper picked up a stomach bug.
Rafael Benitez will leave it as late as possible before naming his team to allow Gerrard time to recover.
