Gerrard admits qualification unlikely

England's 2-1 defeat to Russia last night means they are reliant on Israel to beat or draw with Russia on November 17th if they are to reach the finals in Austria and Switzerland next Summer.

"It is looking doubtful. We will see it out until the end and, hopefully, Israel can do us a favour," said Steven Gerrard.
