Liverpool duo Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen are fit and available for the crunch game against Roma on Tuesday.
Although Didi Hamann misses out through suspension, Gerrard and Owen should figure.
Acting boss Phil Thompson said: "Steven Gerrard was very, very stiff after the Barcelona game, extremely stiff, and we didn't want to take any chances with him, particularly because Didi Hamann is suspended on Tuesday.
"Steven Gerrard has been rested and will be better for it, and we'll have our full amount of players, barring Didi, in contention."
