Gerrard back in action

Hugh McAuley will be delighted to have the club captain available for his side's game with Wolves.

"Steven will play for the reserve team on Monday," confirmed Rafael Benitez. "We are hoping that he can play with us this week."

If all goes well Gerrard is hoping to play in the Premiership game at Middlesbrough next Saturday.
