The Liverpool midfielder was sent off in Liverpool's pre-season friendly with Galatasaray after being wound up by the opposition, but is determined not to make trhe same mistake again.

"It will be difficult in Turkey but I've got to keep a cool head otherwise I will end up getting a yellow or red card and that is what the team won't need," he said.

"It is hard especially as three-quarters of my game is about tackling, but I have just got to be that extra bit careful, maybe a little bit more calm and composed and not get into any silly challenges or get booked for something stupid.

"You need 11 players on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes. It will be hard enough with 11 players, with 10 it will be almost impossible. It will be a massive game. Their players will be up for it, but we will be right up for it as well."
