Gerrard doubtful for Champions League

The Liverpool skipper was left out of the Fulham game at Craven Cottage after suffering a neck injury, and Rafael Benitez is unsure if he will be fit for Tuesday.

"We don't know at the moment," said the Liverpool boss. "Steven is working with the physios.

"He is improving but it is still too soon. You always have to be careful with the neck."
