It was feared that both Gerrard - who is already sidelined for the Reds opening Premiership fixture with Chelsea - and young striker Neil Mellor would face domestic bans after they were dismissed in an ill-tempered 2-1 defeat against the Turkish giants.
According to the club's official website, though, referee Rene Timmink will not report either player to the FA.
