Gerard Houllier has, however, admitted that fellow first-team stars Milan Baros and Steve Finnan could well miss the crucial clash with a Southampton side led for the first time by Paul Sturrock.
Houllier said: "Stevie will be fine for the Southampton game but Milan and Steve Finnan are doubts. Milan felt his groin and we will have to see how he is and Steve injured his shoulder.
"We have cover though and we have four games in the next 10 days, three games in seven days so I will have to take that into consideration. There will be some rotation to the team in terms of freshness."
