Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is rated as extremely doubtful for Saturday's clash against Everton but he should be in the squad that flies out on Sunday to take on Galatasaray.
"It's a blow for Steven because he has been back to his best recently," said acting boss Phil Thompson.
"He's a quick healer and he should be back for Tuesday."
