Gerrard is back

The Liverpool boss has criticised the young midfielder for his below-par form in recent weeks but was delighted with his man-of-the-match performance which helped the Reds through to the last four of the competition.

"He was back to his best and was fantastic throughout this game," he said. "He is capable of putting in that kind of performance nine times out of 10."
