Gerrard laughs off Real rumours

Since Michael Owen moved to Real Madrid certain reporters have been printing rumours that Steven Gerrard is set to join him at the end of the season. The player himself however, has dismissed the story out of hand.

Gerrard said: "There's nothing I can do about speculation. I spoke to the boss and told him it wasn't true. I've made it very clear I'm happy at Liverpool."
