Gerrard makes Reds return

The 24-year-old midfielder was joined by England duo Michael Owen and Jamie Carragher, with fellow Euro 2004 stars Dietmar Hamann, Stephane Henchoz, Vladimir Smicer and Golden Boot winner Milan Baros also present for the firstr time since returning from Portugal.

The squad will train today before beginning their pre-season preparations with a trip to Wrexham on Wednesday.
