Gerrard nominated for award

The Liverpool captain was one of the six nominees for the PFA Player of the Year award along with Didier Drogba, Christiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Cesc Fabregas.

Gerrard is the current holder of the award and was also nominated in 2005.
