"If Wayne's not there and the manager asks me to play a more attacking role, that'll be great news for me," said the Liverpool skipper. "I play there week in, week out for Liverpool and I'm so comfortable there.
"But I'll play wherever the manager wants me to. If he needs me to play a more defensive role, then I'll give it my best shot."
