Gerrard passed fit for Chelsea

With Gerrard's midfield partner Dietmar Hamann already struggling to be fit for Sunday, Gerard Houllier will be relieved by the good news concerning the influential 22-year-old.

Houllier said: "Stevie took a bit of a knock on the hip but he's fine. Jerzy Dudek has been protecting his groin, but he will be okay too. There is no change with Dietmar Hamann. He is still receiving treatment."
