As Gerrard looks to lead Liverpool out in the World Club Championship final tomorrow morning he says that this Liverpool side is the best one he has played in since he made his first team debut.
"These are exciting times for Liverpool and I would go as far as to say this is the best Liverpool team I have played in," said the Reds' captain.
"This is a team that is littered with exciting young players. We have a good mixture of local lads together with some excellent foreign players and we look forward to every game we play. We fear nobody and we are still improving."
