The England boss has praised Steven Gerrard's humility after his frank assessment of his performance against Kazakhstan on Saturday and the way he bounced back with a good performance against Belarus on Wednesday.
"I like what Steven said this week," said Capello.
"I like a player who is willing to be critical of himself. A lot of players criticise the manager, the coaches; but he has shown respect for other players, for the manager, and he has shown humility."
