Gerrard was England's best performer as Steve McClaren's side drew 1-1 with Brazil at the first international at the new Wembley. John Terry scored England's goal.

Gerrard and Jamie Carragher played the full 90 minutes while Peter Crouch was a late subsitute. Scott Carson was an unused sub.
