Gerrard talks begin

Gerrard's agent, Struan Marshall, will today meet chief executive Rick Parry and begin to negotiate a new contract for the Liverpool captain.

Gerrard has been linked with Chelsea and Real Madrid but is keen to remain at Anfield after lifting the European Cup last month, a moment he described as "the best night of my life."
