Gerrard said he would sit down and discuss a new deal with Rafael Benitez and Rick Parry after the final on May 25th, but the Mirror is reporting that the Liverpool captain will put pen to paper on an improved four year deal before the Reds face AC Milan.
Gerrard's signing will be a boost to Liverpool just before they play their biggest game for twenty years.
