Gerrard: We must keep winning

Gerrard, whose 39th minute strike set the Reds on their way to Worthington Cup glory, believes Sunday's victory will only add to the growing confidence at Anfield.

Gerrard said: "There's still a lot for us to play for and now we're aiming to make sure we get into the Champions' League. There were a lot of stupid people writing us off before this game.

"Some people will be saying Liverpool are back but as far as I'm concerned we've never been away. There's no doubt this game will give us a lot of confidence now."
