Thierry Henry will be the undoubted favourite in the six-strong list, which also includes Bolton playmaker Jay Jay Okocha, Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard, Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira and the ever-green Newcastle forward Alan Shearer.
The winner of the prestigous award will be announced at the PFA's annual dinner on April 25th.
