Gerrard's award

The Liverpool captain is set to be awarded the freedom of the borough of Huyton by Knowsley council. A council spokesman said they wanted to honour Gerrard's "outstanding contribution to national and international football and his position as a positive role model to young people in Knowsley and worldwide."
