Middlesbrough chief Steve Gibson has issued a new blast aimed at Liverpool and in particular Rick Parry and Gerard Houllier.

Gibson is still sulking over the transfer of Christian Ziege to Liverpool and despite a Premiership ruling saying Liverpool do not have to pay any compensation, he recently confirmed that his club would take Liverpool to the High Court.

Although Gibson has made various outbursts and threats since the Premiership ruling, he has again commented about the matter and his intentions.

Gibson said: "Houllier has been quoted as saying that Middlesbrough's claims were 'laughable'. He said this knowing them to be justified.

"Parry offered a plea of not guilty to the commission when he knew that he and Liverpool were guilty.

"I look forward to seeing Parry and Houllier under cross-examination with others in the High Court."

Although Gibson now admits the clause did exist in Ziege's contract, he added: "Liverpool premeditated a strategy to illegally obtain the services of Christian Ziege.

"They conspired to defraud our football club of the true market value of Christian.

"This they did by colluding with agents, authorised and unauthorised, with secret meetings in bars and hotels."
