The Reds' Reserves romped home to a 4-1 victory, with strong performances from Jermaine Pennant, Javier Mascherano and Bolo Zenden. But the player we call God showed just why, with sublime touches, masterful interplay and bagged a goal.

Reserve coach, Gary Ablett fielded a strong side including Jerzy Dudek, Fabio Auerlio and Alvaro Arbeloa.

But it was the duo of Fowler and Pennant who deserved all the plaudits, with both players impressing and getting their names on the score sheets, alongside fellow scorers Zenden and Craig Lindfield.
