Gonzales future decided next week

Liverpool have again applied for a work permit for the Chilean winger. The club are hopeful of a successful application this time around after Gonzales impressed during his loan spell at Real Sociedad and Chile climed into the top 70 in the FIFA rankings.

Rafael Benitez and Rick Parry will attend a hearing next Wednesday to find out if Gonzales' application was a success. If it was, Gonzales will join up with the Reds for pre-season training next month.
