"It has been a wonderful first week for me. A winning goal in the Champions League and now a winners' medal," said Gonzales.
"After taking such a long time to get here it is great to have started so well but I know I can do more even if I am happy with this so far.
"I need to keep working to get used to the English game and to improve my game overall.
"But I believe this medal is the first of many."
